In our modern society, a family plays a very important role in our life. Therefore many people say that I’m very fortunate because I have a very happy family with my parents, especially I have a nice younger sister. Although I and my younger sister were born five years apart and we always have quarrel about anything, we also have the same characteristics in some ways.

My parents say that I and my younger sister are rather similar in our characteristics. For example, my mother always complains that we are very lazy and we are not tidy, and that’s really what happened. We usually forget to tidy our bed when we get up and throw our clothes everywhere after we change ours. And one more thing, we also like to stay in bed late and never have enough time to have breakfast at home, my parents tell us about getting up early over and over but we never do like this. Besides this, both of us also have the same hobby. We always listen to music when we are studying, it can help us acquire the knowledge more easily. More over, we don’t like to buy the costume in the market or in the supermarket, we like to ask the tailor to make them with our design, it’s very interesting. Therefore, we are very proud because we have many similarities in our characteristics.

However, we also have something in contrary. My younger sister is an extrovert, she is very active. In fact, she like to have new friends and can make friends very easily. Moreover, she always take part in many social activities such as calling for many people and asking them to donate blood, going to summer camp to play with the children. In contrast, I’m an introvert. I like to stay at home, listen to music and do housework with my mother. Besides that, we don’t like the same kind of music. My younger sister like the foreign music with the strong rhythm. But I love the soft music because I think it can help me reduce stress. For these results, I and my younger sister also have the differences in our characteristics.

In our life, everyone also has the one they like most. And I’m, too. I like my younger sister very much. Although we have characteristics in contrary, we also have many thing in the same.
